PRO 11 GOLD ACADEMY

The Pro11 Football Academy and The Golden Boy Football Academy are excited to announce that they have now joined forces to create the Pro11 Gold Academy! 

Based in Bosher, this new academy will be run by ex-professional footballer Peter Mountford from England and Golden Boy’s very own Bahja, an established football coach here in Muscat.

Wearing their new Pro11 Academy kit, the U12's and the U14's of the Pro11 Football Academy played some superb football to run out as winners in both age groups to avenge their defeats in this same fixture last year.

The Pro11 Football Academy took some of their Academy players on a  UK footballing trip to the home of Manchester City Football Club during the 11th to the 18th of August 2018. It was held at the state of the art Manchester City's Etihad Campus and provided an invaluable insight into the life of a professional footballer.

Held over several days in March, the Pro11 coaches put shoppers through their paces in a specially designed cage that enabled youngsters to take part in an entertaining shooting challenge for the chance to win lots of exciting prizes.

At the end of their first block of After School sessions in November, the students at Al Sahwa Schools took part it what was an exciting and very entertaining Cup Final.

Hundreds of eager youngsters aimed a ball at a target in the hope of scoring more times than anyone else! It needed a good eye, composure and a good striking foot (perhaps even a little bit of luck!) to slip the football through some target holes from 20 yards!

The Pro11 Academy Under-10's Football Team ran out as convincing winners in the recent All-Star Tournament held at the Football 23 training ground in Seeb. Six teams competed but it was the Pro11 team who won both the League trophy and the Championship trophy!

The Pro11 Football Academy are teaming up with the Muscat Mums for an evening of spooky fun and games! If you fancy making a 'ghoul' of yourself then get down to the Sundus Rotana Hotel this Saturday the 27th of October from 3.30pm onwards!

The orange team, the red team and the blue team battled it out to become champions, each team playing each other once in a round-robin tournament. The blue team were eliminated first, leaving the red team and the orange team as the two finalists.

The Pro11 Football Academy are proud to announce the exciting new partnership with Oman Oasis Water, Oman's most trusted brand of water.

In collaboration with Barr Al Jissah, the Pro11 Team introduced the very first Samba Soccer School in Muscat. The first Samba sessions will be held every Saturday from the 4th of November 2017 at the Al Mazaar Edutainment Centre, Bar Al Jissah, near to the Shangri-La Hotel.

The young players of the Pro11 Football Academy are always eager to test their mettle in whatever competitive matches come their way. Recently they have locked horns with teams from The British School Of Muscat, the Juventus Academy of Bahrain and several local teams from Muscat.

On Friday the 20th of April 2018, the Pro11 Football Academy took on the Al Habsi Football Academy in two challenge matches, one for the younger players and one for the older players.

Taking their football theme to yet another level, the Pro11 Football Academy held their very first private birthday party for a football crazy young boy and all his friends!

The first Open Day was held at our new venue at the Al Ghubra Power and Desalination Company pitch in Azaiba, on Sunday the 17th of September. The second was held at The Sultan's School in Seeb, on Monday the 18th of September. 

Congratulations to the red team who beat the blue team in a dramatic penalty shoot-out after drawing 3-3 after 90 minutes. What a fantastic spectacle of football and well done to everyone involved.
