Pro11 Samba Soccer
In collaboration with Barr Al Jissah, the Pro11 Team have introduced the very first Samba Soccer School in Muscat. The first Samba sessions will be held every Saturday from the 4th of November 2017 at the Al Mazaar Edutainment Centre, Bar Al Jissah, near to the Shangri-La Hotel.
Samba Soccer Training will be held in three batches, and split based on age group. Training for children aged 4 – 8 years takes place from 9am to 10am, followed by 10am to 11am for children aged 9 – 12 years, and lastly from 11am to 12noon for children aged 13 – 16 years.
A mix between Futsal and Beach Football, Samba Soccer has been played in Brazil for many years, and many of the world's greatest ever players, including Pele, Maradona, Ronaldo, Ronhaldinho and Messi, have displayed the benefits of this style of training on the world stage.
The Pro11 Academy puts a huge emphasis on ball mastery and making players technically comfortable to receive the ball in all kinds of pressure situations.
Samba Soccer is perfectly in line with this style of training, in fact, Research has shown that this style of Soccer leaves players touching the ball 200% more than regular Soccer training.
